We partnered with Mizner Bioscience to launch the first and only vet-labeled phenobarbital for the management of canine epilepsy.

Prior to launch, vets were either scripting human-label phenobarbital out to pharmacies to avoid dealing with the controlled substance or dispensing it in-house and dealing with the regulatory headache.

Our target audience was obvious– vets dispensing it in-house. We were able to solve all the major pain points using better medicine and a vet-labeled solution.

This product launch came about very quickly. We were able to create the go-to-market strategy and launch all deliverables within a 4-week turnaround. From there, we trained 1200+ distributor sales reps within the next 4-week timeframe.

Later that year we ran a direct mail campaign in conjunction with Epilepsy Awareness Month, where vets could request free canine epilepsy brochures to help educate pet owners whose dogs were just diagnosed.

Sales are currently up 965% YOY.
